# Basics
- Use this for free with up to 5 "projects"
- Use on multiple websites (but still limited to 5 "projects" per "license holder")
- For code you contribute, you own the copyright & may do with that code whatever you wish
- For code you contribute, you grant "us" full rights to use that code in any way we wish, in this project or in others
- No warranties or guarantees are provided with this "software"
- Distribute to another "license holder" under these same terms
- When you update to a new version of this library, you agree to the new license, whether you have a paid or free license
- You may display and distribute the "documentation" in this "software" free of charge
# Paid License
Paid license is not available yet, but will allow:
- 50 "projects" for each $5
- Example: you may purchase the paid license three times to display 150 "projects" with this "software"
- Distribute this "software" to one new "license holder" for each $5
- Example: If you build a website for a client, but they only have one project, they must install this "software" or you must pay $5
- Paid licenses will usually carry forward into new versions of this "software", but that is not guaranteed and you will need to review the new license before updating to the latest software.
- Refunds requested within 30 days of purchase will be granted
- You may hold both a free license and a paid license.
- Example: You display 54 "projects" with this "software". You use the free license for the first 5 "projects" and the paid license for the next 49. You can display one more project.
- You can not use our names (see "us") or the name of this "software" as an endorsement of your project
- Example: You may put "Documentation provided by Taeluf's Project Viewer", but you may not say "Taeluf's Project Viewer endorses our library"
# Violations
If you violate the terms of this license:
- You must come inline with the terms of this license.
- There are no penalties for violation, as long as you remededy the violation
- Example: You display 150 "projects" but have paid no fees. You just have to pay $15, take down 145 projects, or somewhere in between
- You may not copy anything from this "software"
Definitions:
- "License holder": An individual entity, such as a person, a business, a not-for-profit, or a single government organization
- "Project": A directory that is represented by one instance of the Project class which is in this "software".
- A project directory may contain documentation, source code, or both
- This is further determined by the implementation of the Project class
- "Us": Reed Sutman, Taeluf (Reed Sutman's developer name), any business incorporated which carries forward ownership of this "software"
- "Software": all the files found within this software package (git repository, the folder this LICENSE file is found in & all subfolders)
- "documentation": Any and all files in this "software" that have the file extension `.md`, unless otherwise noted in the file.
